Culminating Assignment
My Interactive Resume

During this, my final quarter at Western, I put together one final product to help further showcase my learning. I created what I call an Interactive Resume. When you first come to the website it shows my traditional resume; but if one scrolls down, they will find that each section of the my resume has a link to a more expanded explanation of what I have done that allows me to place that item on my resume. I have included some of my course work in the Human Services Program that showcases my knowledge. I was also able to include photos and other evidence to support my experience.
I chose this project as I just recently begun a new job, helping others find employment. I feel that soon the tradition resume will be outdated. Having a website that presents a much broader view of one's experience can help both the job seeker and employer to make a solid match. By exploring this idea myself I can help my customers not only in my knowledge of the creation process but by giving an example of what a finished product could look like. I found this project very beneficial to not only my personal learning but it also furthered my professional skills.
